Hello Parents, Students and Teachers!
My name is Angelia Cummings. Most friends, family, and faculty call me Angel. My students can call me Mrs. Cummings. Parents are welcome to call me any of the above mentioned names. I want parents to know me and trust my ability to do what is best for their students. I hope this webpage will help accomplish this goal. This is my fourth year teaching at Redwood Elementary. I love teaching and making a difference in students lives. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to make every student feel like they can be successful and make a difference throughout their lives too. Redwood Elementary is my home and where I want to be everyday. I look forward to going to work and seeing students bright faces. This 2016-2017 school year is going to be a wonderful journey as I work with students in helping make the world a better place just one person at a time. |
A Little More About Me
I love Learning! Every student has given me a new perspective on how I can be a better teacher.
I graduated from Southern Utah University in 2013 and just finished my Masters Degree at Utah State University. Learning is a journey that never ends. If I want my students to be life long learners, I must do the same. |
I Love to Travel! This picture was taken in 2015 in Washington DC. What a great opportunity to learn more about the history of the USA.
These two pictures were taken in Chicago, IL in 2013. On top, we are in a glass box high above the ground in the Sears Tower. What an experience!

I Love the Outdoors! The Ocean is one of my favorite places. It reminds me how small I really am. I also enjoy tumbling which is why I am doing a handstand in this picture. I teach tumbling classes through Granite Peaks Community Education and The Little Gym of Draper.
I love hiking! This is one of my favorite hikes. It is called Mueller Park Trail. It is about fifteen minutes from where I live in Bountiful,UT. Here is the link below. Go check it out!

I love Outreach!
One of my main goals in life is to help those in need. I have had the opportunity to travel to Kenya, Africa and the Dominican Republic to serve. These experiences is what ultimately led to me to wanting to teach at Redwood Elementary. I want to be where I am most needed. Redwood Elementary deserves teachers that want to serve and make a difference in kids' lives.
